Money Changing / Withdraw from Machine

Hotels always give bad rates.  Money changing services are available in major shopping area like Tsim Sha Tsui.  Alternatively, you can change money in major banks  in areas like Central, Admiralty, Causeway Bay and Tsim Sha Tsui.  

Can I found ATM machines in Hong Kong

Yes, ATM machines are very common in Hong Kong and they all work.  If the machine does go offline, it will show on the screen to warn you.  Unlike in Hanoi, our tour guide took us to probably the only one ATM machine in Hanoi and apparently it's not widely used and the guide couldn't help to peek from a distance to see how it work!  :-)

You can also find American banks like Citibank and Bank of America in Central in Hong Kong Island.
