Admirality

Not an awful lot of interest here since the British fleet port "H.M.S. Tamar" closed -- the port was actually filled in -- supposedly to prevent the P.L.A. using it.

What you'll find here now is one gigantic mall called Pacific Place, which has some major hotels above it -- even if you can't afford to stay there you may want to visit for the great restaurants, that is why locals like me tend to go there!

There is also the Hong Kong Park above Pacific Place which is a popular spot for photographing new couples.

While you are here you may want to visit the Hong Kong Park which is just behind the mall, take the long escalator up -- you'll see signs for the park.  It is very small by US or European standards but for Hong Kong it's a nice park and you can visit the Teaware museum in Flagstaff House which is a historic building.
