From famous brand names to street stalls, this book is full of shopping information about Hongkong.  Despite her trial to explain some Chinese terms which are not quite accurate, the whole book is very resourceful.

Famous but terrible books about Hong Kong

• Noble House: A Novel of Contemporary Hong Kong by James Clavell

This is the absolute worst-but-famous book about Hong Kong.  Read, but don't believe a word about what it says of Hong Kong people or society!
 

• World of Suzie Wong by Richard Mason

Maybe not so bad, at least it made a good film, but its a story of the 60s -- this is not today's Hong Kong!
