Hi! My mate just arrived from hongkong a couple weeks ago . She told me that food was quite expensive. Is it real or is it probably because he was clueless on where to go? I'm going there on Nov and I don't want to be clueless too. help! =P

There are plenty of fast food shops around. If you are used to the price of Starbucks in America or Europe than there are also many Starbucks in town.

It also depends on districts. Central and Tsim Sha Tsui (TST) tend to be more expensive because of the expensive rent though as I say you can always find a fast food shop or McDonald.

One clue to the price of restaurant - see how neat and nice the table cloth looks. The whiter the more expensive. Wink
