My husband has business in November with visitors from Hong Kong to do .. he also wants to invite us home ... what should I cook ...????.. he says the best snake, but I think he kids me ........

Yes he is pulling your leg , joking. Laughing very few people here eat snake. It is only sold in a few specialist restaurants.

Any business visitor from HK will be perfectly at home with European food. So simple meat and potato type food, or maybe pasta would be safe.

Hong Kong people do not need to eat rice *all* the time... though we do tend to miss noodles and rice if we go without them for a long time.

I suggest you serve a simple meal and add some local speciality as a minor item so they can try it. most business travellers are sick of restaurant food and appreciate some "home cooking"!

Ah, and they probably won't drink much wine -- some beer maybe, but generally in smaller quantities than you might expect.

Thank you for your kind reply!!!! I understand it exactly. When I travel I also miss my home food -- for me it is good German sausage....!!!!..
