Hello everyone!
At the moment I live in Hanoi and I just finished my master's degree in hotel business management and restoration.
After two years in Vietnam passes my friend and I would like to change atmosphere and we think that maybe HK is the right place for us. A bit more "civilized" and some UK or British things too..
Do you think I can find work in the hospitality industry was HK?
Thank you very much for your help! I know that is always asked the same questions a bit, but I'm open to doubt and a little scared too ...

thank you Greg

Greg, there are no shortage of hospitality jobs going in Hong Kong, but of course most of them are for locals. And in particular are for those who speak several local and regional languages.

Are you a typical Brit and speak only English? If so you my have some difficulty. Hong Kong graduates will speak English and Cantonese and probably Mandarin which makes them more attractive hires.

At the same time if you are going for a more senior post rather than front line then your education may help, it's not a lot of experience is it?

Sorry to sound all very negative but I'd like to paint a realistic picture before you up roots and try to move here!
