I think you should try Horizon Plaza in Ap Lei Chau although it's a bit difficult to get to. It's basically a factory building converted to furniture shop showrooms and factory outlets so it's big.
Lots of Asian style furniture shops in this building and to be honest I can't tell if they are Chinese or Indonesian or Thai. But they are nice. Besides they are targeted at westerners so language is not a problem.
To get there, catch the bus no. 91 from Central ferry pier and this will get you to a place called South Horizon. Get a taxi and ask for Horizon Plaza and the taxi driver should know. Alternatively, it's less hassle to catch a taxi but it costs about $90 from Central to Horizon Plaza. |
