My mom and I will be in Hong Kong from December 4-8, 2010. I know it will be cold in HK in December, but how cold would it be? What type of clothes should we bring? Are sweaters and cardigans enough? Is it okay to wear boots? Btw, we'll be coming from a tropical country, so our tolerance to cold temperature is not that high. Your response will be appreciated. Thank you! Smile

Yes, in December it can be quite cold and if you are coming from somewhere warm (e.g. Singapore, or even northen Australia) then you will want woollens and jackets etc.

Dec in HK is only t-shirt weather if you are from a cold place like northern Europe.

And a raincoat, it does rain sometimes in Dec though not as much as in summer.
