What are the operating hours of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange?

Does it run for business hours in Hong Kong, do they overlap with the London trading hours?

Do they close for "Chinese" holidays like Chinese new year or do they run international business days?

The Hong Kong Stock Exchange operates from 9am until 4pm on Monday to Friday every working day in Hong Kong. It is closed on HK public holidays, so while the times of the day do overlap with the UK trading hours it isn't open on specific HK holidays that have no equivalent in Britain such as Lunar New Year and Buddha's birthday.
