Will be visiting grandchildren in Hong Kong for Christmas, what sort of weather will it be like? Understand no snow! But will it be cold anyway, or sunshine and beach weather like in Australia?

My daughter-in-law is a Chinese girl, do you think she will appreciate us bringing presents for the children from England. Or would it be polite to buy things locally?
