Please come & visit us at Booth L1, Hall 3, HK Convention & Exhibition Centre.

4th to 7th October 2008

Preview on 3rd Oct 2008 - 6PM to 9PM

Tickets HK$5000 each. Proceeds go to the Community Chest

Artists include:

Juergen Friede (Sculpture)

He obtains his inspiration from North Africa and the Mediterranean. His heads have no eyes, thereby making one unable to look into their soul. Yet, they convey life and dignity. Individual elements of the works relate to different cultural cycles: ceremonial beards of Egyptian Pharos, the back of the head of classic Greek solders, the long necks of middle African wood sculptures, and the posture of rural African women.

Michael Laube (Screenprint on 3-D multi-layered acrylic glass)

Developing an interaction between the virtual image space and the real space, the viewer is no longer allocated the distanced position of the voyeur. Instead he finds himself in the midst of events. Depending on the respective position of the viewer in the space, the multi-layered acrylic glass offers repeatedly new perplexing views.
