Arriving Hong Kong
The Hong Kong International Airport is certainly one of the biggest and
newest airport in the world.
If you want to have some idea what it looks like, try their
virtual tour under
'passenger guide' for
arrival and departure!
Personally, I like to commute between the airport and city centre with the
train "Airport
Express". It's more expensive
than other transport means but:
- The train is linked with the underground "MTR" together with the free
shuttle service so it's easy to get to
- Unlike other transport means, the train platform is right inside the
airport building so it's convenient.
- The train journey to or from city centre takes approximately 23 minutes.
- There is
free
shuttle service to major hotels. Check out the route!
- You may check in your baggage in town up to 90 minutes before take-off.
The next thing you may want to do is to buy a
Octopus store value card.
