What is Hongkong time ? How can I confirm from Eastern?

Hong Kong is on UTC + 8 hours all year around, there is no daylight savings here. As Eastern Standard Time is UTC - 5, so there is a 12 hour time difference. That's quite convenient actually as it means 9PM in Hong Kong is 9AM EST on the same day.
