Between Taxi and MTR of course Taxi s more convenient as it is door-to-door, but quite expensive. The distance is about 35km and takes around half an hour. Including lugage fees you'll be paying around HK$300 for the taxi.

If you take the Airport Express train it will be $160 per adult and $45 per child over 3 for a *return* ticket which you can use when you go back to the airport. But that will only take you to Kowloon station then you'll need a taxi to the hotel which will be less than $30 probably.

If you want to take the regular MTR instead of the express then it becomes a headache as you need a bus from the airport to the nearest MTR station (Tung Chung), then ride the train (30 minutes) to Kowloon and then again taxi. That MTR is only about $15 per person (single one way) though.

Hope that helps

Raymond
