Put details of your question here Hi we are planning to visit Hong Kong on Jan 29 to Feb 02 2017, is there a problem in food stalls not available during that time? TQ.

Only the oldest and most traditional places still close on Chinese New Year. For the majority of businesses, including small restaurants and food kiosks, the holiday is seen as a busy time for business.

You won't have any trouble finding food, including street kiosk food, during the Luna New Year holiday in Hong Kong. Note though that very little 'street food' is actually sold from street stalls on the street any more, today it is mostly from tiny shops which open up directly onto the pavement.

Go to Monkok and Sham Shi Po to experience these at their best, and as well as Chinese favourites you'll find a range of different flavours as well from Japanese, Korean, American and European styles of food to eat on the go.
