I know it sounds strange but Bulldog clips are really very very useful and I end up putting them onto all sorts of things that they probably never were intended for, not just bunches of paper. I use them in the kitchen, in the bathroom and all over the house. They are a great way to attach something that doesn't have a hole to a hook. There are things hanging up all over my house from hooks using bulldog clips.
So here's the question, I'm going to be moving to Hong Kong for about a year, perhaps longer, it depends on my partners business, and I'm just a bit worried that bulldog clips won't be available in Hong Kong. I know that's silly but it would be a real inconvenience for me, so can you tell me. In Hong Kong stationers do they carry bulldog clips, and I mean a range of different sizes as well.
Thanks. |

You mean those rectangular clips, typically black, with folding metal arms? I used those all the time in my old office in HK. The secretaries must have got them somewhere local so I don't suppose it will be a problem. Nasty things if you ask me, get your fingers caught in them and it hurts. Not to mention if you leave them on paper too long they leave rusty marks. Remember Hong Kong is the tropics and the humidity gets to everything, turn around and it's gone rusty. Personally I'm happier with the old holes and string approach to binding paper together.
Could always have them shipped huh if you really needed them. |
