ESF 2013-2014 Un official School Term Calendar

Based on information published by ESF at http://www.esf.edu.hk/esf-calendar2013-14, but reformatted in an easier to read style. Together with files to import into your Outlook, iPhone, Android or other calendaring system!

Maybe it's just me, but I've always found the way that the ESF formats their calendar to be slightly off-putting. Not majorly so, but it just makes me do a little double take every time when I realize that dates read up and down instead of left to right. Perhaps I'm just too old and crochety to deal with a new calendar style, but I'm quite happy to have my dates go 1, 2, 3, 4 etc across the page rather than down it.

So I thought I'd enter those dates into another program so I could reformat it, and while I am at it I might as well do it neatly so that it can be shared with anybody else who needs to know the ESF School dates.

Of course that means I've been restricted to just ESF-wide things in this, I'll be adding the specific calendar items for Kennedy School and West Island School when I get a moment, as those are where my children are. And I'll be happy to add other ESF School dates when I can get hold of those to make this rather more useful.

Being able to cross check and compare the holiday dates between schools, not just international schools but local schools as well, is great to know when play mates are going to be available. Or when Ocean Park is going to be jammed packed!

If you'd like to enquire at all about this calendar please write to me at [email protected]

(Scroll forward to August 2013 to see the start of term)

ESF Calendar as a .csv file - (comma separated values) suitable for importing into Outlook 2003 or higher

ESF Calendar an .ics file - (ical) suitable for importing into iCalendar on iPhones

ToDo: A good printable calendar!

Want other formats? Ask me and I'll try to create the necessary file!

This page is not officially associated with ESF in any way, if you need to confirm any date please check with ESF directly.
