There is not a lot to say except bring light cloths with you, drink plenty of water and be prepared to be frozen -- no, not frozen outside, but every time you go into a restaurant, shop or mall the shock of the air-conditioning is liable to make you ill! No locals in Hong Kong like summer -- particularly July and August are just too too bad. If you visit Hong Kong in summer and are coming from somewhere that has low humidity then you may have a real problem. The heat seems even hotter than it is because you can't keep cool by normal perspiration as your body is used to.
