Hi there
recommendations on best restoring for the Christmas Day or Brunch Lunch with HK? I want to reserve some good share with a great d' group; friends who will be in HongKong for the festivals of Christmas. We are not worried too much by the cost, as we would like to make the really special one. Our preference would be some share on l' island of HK and we are to think a menu with drinks would undoubtedly be better than d' a dresser, but I am opened with the suggestions for is. If quelqu' one can help, it would be very appreciated!
Merci d'avance! |

| I have had lunch for christmas at the grand hyatt -- in one of their three ballrooms. It is good food and excellent service. The customers are mostly Hong Kong Chinese though so there is not a lot of what Europeans would call "Christmas atmosphere". Particularly I note that after lunch everybody leaves very rapidly -- there is no hanging around and drinking/chatting as you would have at home. |

I am planning to go to Brasserie on the Eighth in the Conrad Hotel. I haven't tried their Christmas lunch but the Father's Day lunch is super!
As you can guess from the name of the restaurant it's a French restaurant. The cooking is wonderful and the dishes are more unusual compare to the other buffets. As I have tried many buffets in Hong Kong this is the one recently managed to make me feel that there are many dishes I still haven't tried and I am full. Not to mention the unlimited supply of champange. |
