I AM A BRITISH CITIZEN AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHETHER I WILL REQUIRE A VISA TO ENTER HONG KONG

No you do not. British Citizens can enter HK and stay for 180 days without any visa. That's tourist entry though, you can't work here.

There is official web page for all country visa to go to HK.

I think it is the government page and most reliable.
